There are some partnerships that simply feel right.
For us at Impress, becoming Business Ambassadors for Suffolk Wildlife Trust is one of them.
As a Suffolk business, we’re incredibly lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside, coastline, wetlands, forests, and wildlife. It’s easy to take those things for granted when life gets busy, but spending time in nature has a way of slowing everything down and reminding you what really matters.
That’s one of the reasons this partnership means so much to us.
But if we’re honest, there’s another reason too.
As part of the promotional merchandise industry, we know our sector hasn’t always had the best reputation when it comes to sustainability. Cheap throwaway products, unnecessary waste, and short-term thinking have shaped perceptions over the years - and rightly so in many cases.
We don’t want to ignore that reality. We want to help change it.
At Impress, we’ve spent years trying to make more responsible choices in the way we work and the products we promote.
That doesn’t mean we’re perfect, and we’d never pretend to be. But we do believe businesses have a responsibility to keep improving, keep learning, and keep asking how they can do better.
That’s why we actively encourage clients to consider:

We’re also proud supporters of the British Promotional Merchandise Association StepForward Pledge, which encourages businesses within our industry to take meaningful action towards sustainability and ethical business practices.

For us, supporting Suffolk Wildlife Trust feels like a natural extension of those values.

For more than 60 years, Suffolk Wildlife Trust has worked to protect and restore wildlife across the county. Their mission to Bring Nature Back is about far more than conservation alone.
It’s about protecting the places people love.
It’s about helping wildlife recover.
It’s about creating healthier communities and inspiring people to reconnect with nature again.
From managing over 50 nature reserves across Suffolk to working with schools, communities, farmers, and local organisations, their work genuinely makes a difference.

Our team has joined The Suffolk Wildlife Trust for several Business events. Walking around reserves, spotting wildlife, chatting with other local businesses and hearing from volunteers about the history of the sites is a powerful reminder of why organisations like The Suffolk Wildlife Trust matter so much.
Sometimes, stepping outside and reconnecting with nature gives you a completely different perspective.
It certainly did for us.

For us, this isn’t about ticking a sustainability box or adding another logo to a website.
We want to be part of positive conversations around sustainability in our industry.
We want to support local organisations making a real impact.
And we want to contribute, in whatever way we can, towards protecting Suffolk’s wildlife and natural spaces for future generations.

Whether it’s supporting fundraising events, helping raise awareness, exploring conservation initiatives or simply encouraging more conversations around sustainability, we’re proud to stand alongside an organisation doing such important work.
And hopefully, through partnerships like this, we can help show that our industry can move in a better direction too.
If you haven’t visited one of Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s reserves before, we’d highly recommend it. Sometimes all it takes is a walk outdoors to remember why protecting these spaces matters so much.
